A former keeper of the Alkari faith, Atheer was driven from his home after the death of his family at the hands of crooked gangsters led him to seek justice. He worked his way up from a deck hand to captain of a small mercenary ship and now seeks vengeance against the shadowy organizations that pushed him from home.
