Fungal Farms produce Food without the need for farmland, sunlight, or rain. This food is not palatable, so colonies with better biomes elect not to build this facility.

Interestingly, Inferno worlds are not eligible for fungal farms, making the worlds of the Silicoids even less interesting to conquer.
