A quick scan of the planet reveals the presence of an ancient but primitive race, with a complex non-star-faring civilization that covers most of its surface. They greet you with caution, not sure yet if they are to trust you or attack you.
Characteristics
A timocracy is an honor-oriented system where the highest offices are granted to those deemed the most honorable. A timocracy will generally have elements of aristocracy (the honor or dishonor of a citizen affecting their relatives, resulting in frequent transmission of charges through heredity) and stratocracy (the battlefield being often the quickest way to obtain honor and glory).
